Day 1
Arrive in Istanbul, Turkey

Day trip to Pamukkale
Proceed to Pammukale, Start your day with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis. Hierapolis was rebuilt during the reign of the Roman emperor Tiberius and survived until 1334, when it was abandoned after an earthquake. Extensive ruins, excavated since the 19th century, include baths, a gymnasium, an agora, and a Byzantine church. Hierapolis was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1988.
